Για την έκθεση «FROM CHANIA TO PAROS 1995–2026», αυτή η στιγμή έφτασε.

TWO DAYS LEFT: BEFORE THE LIGHT MOVES ON
THE EXHIBITION CONTINUES TO BRING US TOGETHER

This morning, the autumn light entered the gallery slowly and touched the works, as though it had come to bid them farewell.

The exhibition FROM CHANIA TO PAROS 1995–2026 has been much more than a meeting of works and artists. It has become a living space for memory, dialogue, and new connections a journey that began thirty-one years ago and has found a new destination in Paros.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has crossed the threshold of t.k. place; to those who paused before the works, spoke with us, returned, shared personal stories, and chose a work to continue its journey in a new home.

Your response has brought the exhibition to life and confirmed, once again, that art preserves more than works. It preserves relationships, too.

Only two days remain. If you have not yet visited, this is your moment to spend time with the exhibition before it closes. And if you have already been, we invite you to return to look again, linger a little longer, and share the space with us once more.

You are always welcome.

Nikos did not simply design lamps. He shaped light into objects with presence, balance and memory.

This unique handmade table lamp reveals the precision of its craftsmanship through the thoughtful dialogue between materials: the crisp, reflective line of chrome, the soft radiance of pink opaline glass and the natural warmth of carefully selected wood. Each element has been considered not only for its beauty, but also for the way it contributes to the lamp’s sculptural equilibrium, tactile character and quietly expressive presence.

Its refined geometry carries a subtle contemporary Art Deco influence. Rather than reproducing the past, the design distils its essential qualities clarity of line, symmetry, proportion and material richness—into a form that feels distinctly modern. The result is an object that stands between lighting, furniture and sculpture: elegant when unlit, atmospheric when illuminated and quietly commanding in the space it inhabits.

Handmade with care, the lamp transforms light into a composed architectural gesture. Its glow does not merely brighten a room; it softens its surroundings, defines its atmosphere and gives the space a quiet sense of character. Through the balance of its materials and proportions, it becomes both a functional object and a small, luminous work of art.

Art never stands still.

It moves like a whisper, changes hands, travels from island to island, and opens pathways to new encounters.

These days, at t.k. place, works from the exhibition FROM CHANIA TO PAROS 1995–2026 are meeting people with different journeys, memories, and points of departure. Some are travelling to distant destinations. Some are being recognised once again, after many years. Others are becoming the starting point for a conversation, an emotion, or a new way of seeing.

This is more than an exhibition. It is a living network of encounters between artworks, places, and people; between what we remember and what we are only beginning to discover.

The exhibition has been extended until 15 October.

You are always welcome.
